These are results from our in-house wet lab validation, which were published in the Journal of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology. The results were further validated and confirmed by experiments done at Beckman Coulter in 2025 using the Biomek system (Application note will be published soon).
The presented data demonstrate the impact of AMLAMaiTE media blend optimization compared to classical DoE-based media blend optimization on protein titers. Optimization of media composition supports enhanced productivity and improved downstream throughput as demonstrated by IgG titers shown in the graph below. All data were generated by customers in their own facilities under process-relevant conditions.
Iterative media optimization in a bacterial expression system resulted in a significant improvement in enzyme activity. Following three rounds of optimization, enzyme activity increased by 146% relative to the standard medium. Individual experiments were designated as R (replicate) followed by a two-digit identifier. All data was generated by the customer under process-relevant conditions.
